13th Century Sandstone Property

Type: 13th century sandstone monastic building and heritage gardens. View of Queen Anne style house
Style: Monastic and Queen Anne

13th century sandstone 2 story listed building known as the old infirmary opposite the Abbey. Surrounding heritage gardens. The complex once formed part of the Abbey where travellers would unload their goods visiting monk markets and herb gardens and fish pools. The river used to cut into the building so there is an archway in one of the rooms where boats would unload. Beautiful stained glass windows in both rooms. The garden has fruit trees, small meadows, a bog garden and a lovely edible arch. Very close to the town centre and 15 minutes walk from the train station. We have a large car park outside our premises. The site used to be The Cadfael experience due to the site's link to the Abbey. Also with unit base on site with toilet facilities, water connections, security barriers and lighting.
